Neuropsychological Assessment is an in-depth evaluation of all major cognitive domains, such as intelligence, memory, language, processing speed, attention, and learning. This type of testing is useful in exploring brain-based issues in the service of diagnosis and treatment planning. The testing usually consists of a comprehensive clinical interview, and then 3-4 testing sessions of approximately 2.5 hours each. A thorough neuropsychological report is completed, and feedback is given to the client where questions are answered.
